Short answers to the questions that come up most often.

Does GrapeVest connect to my bank?​

No. You enter data by hand, once a month. It's a deliberate choice — you stay in full control of what goes into the plan, and you don't share account access with anyone.

Does my partner see all my data?​

In the Duo plan — yes. You run one shared plan, so you both see the same positions, goals and progress. If you'd rather keep finances separate, choose the Solo plan.

Can I use it on my own?​

Yes. The Solo plan is your private wealth tracker. Duo is an option for couples and families, not a requirement.

Is it a replacement for Excel?​

Yes — for wealth management. GrapeVest does what many people use a spreadsheet for: it gathers all of your wealth in one place, computes net worth and shows progress. The difference is that you don't maintain formulas, and sharing the plan with a partner is easy.

Is it investment advice?​

No. GrapeVest shows your data and computes projections from it. It doesn't recommend specific instruments or make decisions for you.

Is my data safe?​

Cloud accounts are encrypted end-to-end. The key is derived from your password on your device and never reaches the server. We don't read your data. See Privacy & security for details.

Does it work offline?​

Yes. In local mode your data lives in the browser and needs no login. You can also install the app on your phone as a PWA.

Which currencies can I use?​

Złoty by default. Individual positions and assets can be held in a foreign currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF and others). GrapeVest converts them to PLN at the current NBP rate. For example, Bitcoin bought in euros can be tracked in euros or simply as its PLN equivalent.

How much does it cost?​

A new account gets 30 days of full access. After that, continued use needs a subscription. Your data stays intact regardless of the plan.

Can I delete my account and data?​

Yes. Settings has an option to permanently delete your account, confirmed with your password. It removes the data of the household where you're the only member.
